I am a 38 year old WAHM to 4 daughters, married to my husband for 17 years.
When I started this blog, we were all living in a 2 bedroom 1 bath run down 30 year old trailer. I bought the trailer for $7000 in 1989 when I had an insurance settlement from a bad carwreck that nearly killed me. I wish I had bought a bigger or newer trailer, but I did it as a favor to some distant cousin I didn’t even know because my mother said I should. It was meant to be temporary and serve as a home til I got married and we bought a house in the suburbs and had 2.3 kids and 2 brand new cars… Yeah… well it didn’t quite work out that way.
Current blog posts are written after we have FINALLY bought a newer 16×80 3 bedroom, 2 bath trailer… in another trailer park. Yeah I can’t escape the white trash thing,.. they even call this park “Little Mexico” .. I *really* need to learn Spanish.
